Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Solang Nala

  • Drive from Manali to Solang Nala (approximately 12 kilometers).
  • Solang Nala is a popular starting point for treks and climbs in the region.
  • Spend the day acclimatizing and organizing your equipment.

Day 2: Solang Nala to Dhundi

  • Trek or drive from Solang Nala to Dhundi (approximately 7 kilometers).
  • Dhundi is a small village and the last motorable point on the route to Hanuman Tibba.
  • Set up your base camp in Dhundi.

Day 3: Dhundi to Beas Kund

  • Trek from Dhundi to Beas Kund (approximately 4 kilometers).
  • Beas Kund is a beautiful high-altitude lake and serves as a common base camp for various peaks in the area.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Beas Kund

  • Spend the day acclimatizing at Beas Kund.
  • You can explore the area and practice with your climbing equipment.

Day 5: Beas Kund to Hanuman Tibba Base Camp

  • Trek from Beas Kund to the Hanuman Tibba Base Camp.
  • This will be a challenging day as you gain altitude and approach the base camp.

Day 6: Establish Higher Camps and Acclimatization

  • Over the next few days, establish higher camps to gradually acclimatize to the altitude.
  • Depending on your climbing route, you may set up multiple camps.
  • Spend time at each camp to adjust to the altitude and fine-tune your climbing skills.

Day 7: Summit Push

  • Begin your summit push.
  • The ascent of Hanuman Tibba is technically challenging, and the specific route you take will depend on your expertise and the conditions.
  • Make your summit attempt when weather conditions are favorable and you and your team are fully prepared.

Day 8: Descent and Return

  • Descend from the summit and any higher camps.
  • Trek back to Beas Kund and Dhundi.

Day 9: Return to Manali

  • Return to Manali and conclude your expedition.
