Patalsu Peak is the 4200 mtrs tallpeak near Manali it offers the most awe-inspiring views of the mountains. You’llbe able to see the distinct peaks of Hanuman Tibba and Friendship peak risinghigh amidst a crowd of snow-laden mountains.
The trek pushes you via some steep inclines, narrow ridges and moraines, certain, but the backdrop of the engulfing snowy peaks. This beautiful trek starts from Rumsu, passing through Solang valley and finally to Patalsu peak.
Patalsu Peak Short Trek Itinerary
- Day 1 : Arrival in Manali. Drive to Solang and stay.
- Day 2 : Solang to Patalsu summit camp (6 km)
- Day 3 : Summit Camp to Patalsu Summit – back to Patalsu Summit Camp (6 km)
- Day 4: Summit Camp to Manali via Solang (6 km Trek)
Note: This trek can also be covered in 2 nights as well. On day 3, we can summit the Patalsu Peak and then trek down to Solang making it 12 kms of trekking on the last day as well.
